CHERY Icaur Overview
The iCAUR V23 is a compact, retro-boxy electric SUV from Chery's iCAR sub-brand, sold in Nepal by SPG Automobiles (Sharda Group), which also handles Omoda and Jaecoo. Its squared-off body, round headlights, side steps and a small storage box on the side-hinged tailgate give it a classic off-roader look, but Nepal gets only the single-motor, rear-wheel-drive version, with no 4x4 option. A 59.93 kWh CATL LFP battery feeds a 100 kW, 180 Nm rear motor, good for 0 to 100 kmph in about 11 seconds.
It is rated at 360 km on NEDC (401 km on China's CLTC cycle), and real-world range in Nepal is a little over 300 km. DC charging peaks at 85 kW, with 30 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes. The standout for Nepal is its rough-road ability: 205 mm of unladen ground clearance, 42 and 41 degree approach and departure angles and a 600 mm wading depth.

- Rear-wheel drive on road tyres, so deep mud is beyond it despite the looks
- 100 kW feels modest with four aboard on overtakes and long climbs
- Early cars lacked a driver display; all readouts sit on a screen that can wash out in sunlight
