The Deepal S05, a futuristic compact electric SUV, has officially launched in Nepal through MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Changan vehicles. Priced between Rs. 48.99 Lakhs and Rs. 56.99 Lakhs, the S05 is positioned as a perfect balance of luxury, technology, and affordability, directly rivaling the BYD Atto 3. The SUV has already earned global recognition with the prestigious iF Design Award 2025, thanks to its bold aerodynamics, frameless doors, illuminated logo, and star-feeder LED taillights.

Under the hood, the Deepal S05 is powered by a 175 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) paired with a 56.1 kWh CATL Golden Shield Battery 2.0, delivering up to 232 PS power and 320 Nm torque. It promises a range of up to 510 km (CLTC) while charging from 30–80% in just 30 minutes via DC fast charging. The advanced cooling system, electric start, and superior cold-weather performance make it highly suitable for Nepal’s diverse geography.
