TVS Jupiter Overview
The TVS Jupiter 110 is the new-generation version of India's popular family scooter, launched in Nepal by Jagdamba Motors in July 2025. It uses a 113.3cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine making about 8 PS at 6,500 rpm and 9.8 Nm with iGO Assist, a mild torque boost from the starter-generator that helps when overtaking or climbing. It also has silent start and idle stop-start. Practicality is its strength: the 33-litre underseat compartment holds two helmets, the fuel filler sits at the front so you do not need to get off the seat, and it rides on 12-inch wheels. Nepal gets a single well-equipped version with a digital colour console, SmartXonnect Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts and distance-to-empty, along with a front disc brake, an LED headlamp and a light bar.
In Nepal the Jupiter is aimed squarely at families and daily commuters, supported by TVS's wide dealer and workshop network. The long seat and roomy floorboard suit two-up riding, and iGO Assist helps a little on hill roads. The trade-offs are modest outright power for steep climbs with a full load, no ABS and a design focus on comfort rather than sporty handling. It suits family riders and commuters who value storage, comfort and low running costs.
