Honda Dio 125 Overview
The Honda Dio 125 takes the sporty Dio formula and adds a bigger 123.9cc fuel-injected, fan-cooled engine making about 8.3 PS and 10.4 Nm through a CVT. Compared with the Dio 110 it has more low-down pull, sharper styling with an LED headlamp, and a longer feature list including idle start-stop. It weighs around 104 kg, rides on a telescopic fork with a 12-inch front wheel and uses a front disc brake with CBS on both variants. In Nepal the Standard variant uses a regular key with kick start, while the Deluxe Smart adds a smart key for keyless start and seat opening, dropping the kick starter.
The Dio 125 is Syakar Trading's main 125cc scooter in Nepal now that the Grazia has been phased out, and it benefits from Honda's wide service network. The extra torque over the Dio 110 helps with a pillion and on Kathmandu's short, steep climbs, while its low weight keeps it easy in traffic.
