Honda Grazia BS4 Overview
The Honda Grazia BS4 is the original version of Honda's premium 125cc scooter, launched in 2017 as a sharper-styled alternative to the Activa 125. It uses a 124.9cc carburetted, fan-cooled engine making about 8.6 PS and 10.5 Nm through a CVT, with a telescopic front fork, a 12-inch front wheel and CBS combined braking. It was notable for an LED headlamp and a fully digital meter with a tachometer at a time when few scooters had them, along with a side-stand engine cut-off and an external fuel filler. The Deluxe variant adds a front disc brake and alloy wheels.
Compared with the later Grazia BS6, this version lacks fuel injection, idle start-stop and Honda's silent ACG starter, and it has slightly simpler styling. In Nepal it remains in the market through Syakar Trading stock and the used market, and it sits below the BS6 model in Honda's range. It rides smoothly, handles city traffic well and suits riders who like its angular looks. The trade-offs are a carburetted engine that is less efficient and slower to start cold at altitude, a small underseat space for a 125, and ageing emissions tech. It suits riders who want Grazia styling and a proven engine without paying for the newer model.
