Yadea Launches Three New Electric Scooters in Nepal: GS70, GT70 and GT80
Yadea has expanded its electric two-wheeler lineup in Nepal with three new scooters - the GS70, GT70 and GT80 - targeting urban commuters, long-distance riders and premium scooter buyers respectively. The models have been introduced by Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of Yadea in Nepal, with each variant differing in battery configuration, motor output, riding range and technology features.

The GS70 is positioned as an everyday electric scooter built for urban mobility. It runs on a 2.1 kWh LFP battery paired with a 2.8 kW peak motor, offering a claimed range of up to 105 km on a single charge.
The GT70 is the long-range option in the lineup, built around a 5.7 kWh dual LFP battery system that combines a 3.6 kWh fixed battery with a 2.1 kWh removable unit. It is powered by a 3.7 kW peak motor and offers a claimed range of up to 220 km. The removable battery adds flexibility for off-bike charging.
At the top of the range, the GT80 pairs a 3.6 kWh lithium battery with a 5 kW peak motor, the most powerful of the three, for a claimed top speed of 80 km/h and a range of up to 150 km, aimed at riders prioritising performance.
Features and Technology
All three models share a common set of smart connectivity features, including Bluetooth connectivity, a TFT smart display, mobile navigation mirroring, Yadea Smart App connectivity, family sharing for up to five users, and smart keyless access.
On the safety side, the GS70, GT70 and GT80 come equipped with a Traction Control System (TCS), cruise control, hill hold control, hill descent control and dual-disc brakes, aimed at improving stability and control across different riding conditions.
Availability, Warranty and Launch Offer
The GS70, GT70 and GT80 are available through 20 authorised Yadea dealerships across Nepal, with Kuzu Nepal planning to expand its sales and service network further in the coming months.
All three models come with a battery warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km. As a launch offer, the company is providing an introductory discount of Rs. 10,000 on all three models, valid until the conclusion of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
