TATA Sierra Overview

The Tata Sierra EV is the fully electric version of Tata's revived Sierra SUV, distributed in Nepal by Sipradi Trading. It was launched in India in mid 2026 and reached Nepal as a showcase vehicle around the NADA Auto Show in Kathmandu, so at the time of writing it is best treated as a newly arrived, upcoming model rather than a car you can already buy off the floor. Tata has confirmed the core hardware for the Indian market: a choice of 63 kWh and 75 kWh LFP battery packs, a rear wheel drive single motor setup on the smaller pack making around 235 bhp, and a dual motor all wheel drive version on the 75 kWh pack that pairs front and rear motors for a claimed 0 to 100 kmph time near 5.8 seconds.

Claimed MIDC range runs up to roughly 565 km on the 63 kWh pack and up to about 665 km on the top 75 kWh version, with Tata itself estimating a more realistic figure closer to 440 to 460 km for the base battery under its C75 measure. The Sierra EV leans on a modern, feature heavy cabin with a triple screen dashboard (a 10.25 inch driver cluster plus two 12.3 inch displays), a panoramic sunroof, a JBL audio system, and Tata's iRA connected car suite. On safety it offers six airbags as standard and a Level 2 ADAS package with features like adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring, along with a surround view camera.
