HYUNDAI Creta Ev Overview
The Hyundai Creta Electric is the battery-powered version of Hyundai's popular Creta SUV, sold in Nepal by Laxmi Hyundai. It launched in 2025 in several trims, but the line-up is now a single Executive Tech trim with a 42 kWh liquid-cooled NMC battery and a 99 kW (135 PS) motor driving the front wheels. Hyundai quotes 415 km on the MIDC cycle; in mixed Nepali driving expect roughly 300 to 340 km.
DC charging is quoted at 10 to 80 percent in 39 minutes on a charger rated above 100 kW, though most Nepali fast chargers are slower, and a 7.4 kW AC charger fills it in about six hours. It keeps the familiar Creta shape and a practical five-seat cabin with a 433-litre boot and a full-size spare, plus 200 mm of ground clearance for broken roads. The Executive Tech adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, twin 10.25-inch screens and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, with six airbags as standard.
