Ather Konarc Overview
The Ather Konarc is the brand's newest and most affordable electric scooter, built on an all-new EL platform aimed at families and everyday commuters. It launches in three range-based variants, the S 100, S 125 and S 161, all sharing a steel unibody chassis, a 70 km/h top speed and Ather's connected software. Battery sizes span 2.1 kWh to 3.5 kWh, giving ARAI IDC figures of 100 to 161 km and real-world TrueRange of 80 to 130 km.
Its strengths are a comfortable long-travel suspension, a roomy 31 litre boot, a silent gearbox-driven motor and a mature app experience, with the top S 161 adding a larger 7 inch display, faster charging and extra smart features. The main trade-offs are modest outright performance, longer charging times unless you add the combined charger, and the absence of ABS. It suits budget-minded city riders and small families who want a dependable, well-equipped Ather without stretching to the pricier models.
