BYD ATTO 1 is the latest entry-level electric hatchback that has officially launched in Nepal via Cimex Inc., the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles. The debut took place during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Priced below Rs. 29 lakhs, the ATTO 1 is now Nepal’s most affordable BYD EV, competing directly with models like the Tata Tiago EV and Wuling Bingo.
Internationally known as the BYD Seagull, the ATTO 1 is built on BYD’s advanced e-Platform 3.0 and features a compact footprint ideal for urban driving. Powered by a 45 kW permanent magnet motor and a 30.08 kWh Blade LFP battery, it delivers a real-world range of around 280 km (WLTP)—perfect for daily commutes in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara. Despite its budget-friendly price, it packs impressive tech: 6 airbags, a large rotating infotainment screen, voice control, smart connectivity, and a minimalist, modern cabin.
