The Riddara RD6, distributed by CG Motors in Nepal, is a revolutionary all-electric pickup that marks a bold new direction in Nepal’s electric utility vehicle segment. Priced between Rs. 66.99 Lakhs and Rs. 82.99 Lakhs, the RD6 is available in both Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) variants, each bringing unique capabilities and features. Launched initially in mid-2024, the RD6 created ripples as a fun-to-drive EV pickup, and the introduction of the 4WD variant further cemented its status as a true all-terrain performer.
Based on Geely’s MAP architecture, adapted from the SEA platform (also used in Zeekr X), the RD6 comes with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability up to 6kW, offering true utility for outdoor enthusiasts. The RWD variant features a 63 kWh battery with 377 km range, while the 4WD gets a beefier 73 kWh pack with 424 km range. It boasts powerful Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (200 kW in RWD, 325 kW in 4WD), fast charging support, and advanced off-road modes.
