The Henrey Volts is a micro electric city car sold in Nepal, aimed squarely at the bottom of the EV market where the priority is affordable daily commuting rather than range, speed or space. It comes in two forms. The base Model H runs a small battery of around 16.5 to 17 kWh with a 34 to 35 kW motor and about 102 Nm of torque, claims roughly 200 to 205 km on the NEDC cycle, and tops out near 100 km/h.
It is a compact four-seater, only about 3.38 metres long, with a 795 kg kerb weight, 165 mm of ground clearance and basic safety kit (a driver airbag, ABS, EBD and TPMS). The Model C Pro steps up to a larger battery of about 25 kWh with a claimed 300 km range and, crucially, adds DC fast charging. The Volts is best understood as a budget urban runabout, not a do-everything family car.

- Model C Pro adds DC fast charging up to 30 kW, taking the battery from 0 to 80 percent in under 40 minutes, a big practicality gain over the base car
- Reasonable 165 mm ground clearance for a micro car helps on broken city roads and speed bumps
- Everyday convenience features are covered, with a touchscreen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED headlamps, keyless entry and a reverse camera with parking sensors
- Battery and motor are covered by a 5 year or 60,000 km warranty, which adds some reassurance on an otherwise low-cost EV
What could be better
- Base Model H supports only slow 3.3 kW AC charging, so a full charge takes over five hours and there is no DC fast charge option on that variant
- Claimed range is quoted on the lenient NEDC (Model H) and CLTC (Model C Pro) cycles, so real usable range in traffic, hills and AC will fall well short of the 200 to 300 km figures
- Safety is minimal, with just a single driver airbag, ABS, EBD and TPMS, and no independent crash-test rating to rely on
- Modest performance with a 34 to 35 kW motor and roughly 100 km/h top speed means it is strictly a city car, not suited to highway runs
- Small four-seat cabin and micro-car dimensions limit passenger and luggage space for families or longer trips
- Henrey is a little-known Chinese brand in Nepal with a thin service and support footprint, so parts and after-sales coverage are less certain than with established EV makers
