ZXMoto 500RR Overview
The ZXMoto 500RR is a fully faired supersport built around a 470cc, liquid cooled, DOHC 16 valve inline four that revs to 62 kW (about 83 bhp) at 13,500 rpm and 46 Nm at 11,500 rpm, with Bosch fuel injection, a 6 speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. It uses a steel trellis frame with a single sided aluminium swingarm, a fully adjustable 41 mm USD fork and rear shock, twin 300 mm floating front discs and cornering ABS with traction control run through a 6 axis IMU. ZXMoto claims 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of about 235 kmph.
It is one of very few inline four sportbikes available in Nepal below the 600cc class, and it brings the sound and high revving character of a four cylinder at a kerb weight of just 168 kg. It is sold through Bikers Nepal. With an 800 mm seat but only 132 mm of ground clearance, it suits riders who want track day and weekend highway performance more than a practical everyday bike for broken roads.
