Morbidelli T502X Overview
The T502X is a middleweight adventure bike powered by a 486cc liquid cooled parallel twin with Marelli fuel injection, making about 46.9 hp at 8,500 rpm and 45 Nm at 6,750 rpm through a 6 speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It rides on spoked tubeless 19/17 inch wheels with Pirelli tyres, a 43 mm upside down fork, dual 300 mm front discs and Bosch ABS that can be switched off at the rear. It comes ready for touring with crash bars, a skid plate, hand guards, a centre stand, TPMS and a rally style 7 inch vertical TFT with navigation. Vaidya Group says the T502X is assembled at its facility in Parsa and sold through the Naxal showroom.

What we like
- Crash bars, skid plate, hand guards and a centre stand come fitted, so it is trail ready out of the showroom.
- 210 mm ground clearance and a 19 inch spoked front wheel cope well with broken roads and river crossings.
- The twin cylinder engine is smoother and more relaxed on highways than typical single cylinder adventure bikes.
- An 18 litre tank and claimed 4.1 L/100 km give a useful touring range for long rides out of the valley.
What could be better
- At 210 kg kerb weight it is heavier than 400cc class single cylinder rivals.
- The 830 mm seat height will be a stretch for shorter riders on uneven ground.
- Traction control is not listed in the official spec sheet, unlike on the smaller T352X.
- The service network is currently limited to Kathmandu, which matters on long trips outside the valley.
