Hero XPulse 210 Overview
The XPulse 210 is Hero's new adventure motorcycle, replacing the air cooled 200cc engine with a 210cc liquid cooled DOHC four valve single that makes 24.6 PS at 9,250 rpm and 20.7 Nm at 7,250 rpm, paired with a 6 speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. It rides on 21 and 18 inch spoke wheels with long travel suspension, a linkage type rear shock and 220 mm of ground clearance, and gets dual channel ABS with three ABS modes, an LED projector headlamp and a 4.2 inch TFT with Bluetooth navigation. With a 170 kg kerb weight, 830 mm seat and 13 litre tank, it is aimed at Nepali riders who regularly leave the tarmac for trails, river beds and mountain roads.

- The TFT display with turn by turn navigation is useful on unfamiliar routes.
What could be better
- The 830 mm seat height can be tall for shorter riders at stops and on uneven ground.
- Spoke wheels usually mean tube type tyres, which are harder to fix after a puncture.
- At 170 kg it is heavier than the XPulse 200 when picking it up or manoeuvring off road.
- With 24.6 PS it still lacks the outright power of 300cc to 400cc adventure bikes for loaded touring.
