WULING Air Ev Overview
The Wuling Air EV is a tiny two-door, four-seat city electric car sold in Nepal by EV Nepal Motors, built by SAIC-GM-Wuling. At under 3 metres long (2974 x 1505 x 1631 mm) it is one of the smallest EVs on sale here, designed squarely for tight urban commuting rather than long trips. It comes in two variants: a Standard Range with a 17.3 kWh lithium (LFP) battery and a claimed 200 km, and a Long Range with a 26.7 kWh battery and a claimed 300 km.
Both use the same rear-mounted 30 kW PMSM motor making 41 PS and 110 Nm, driving the rear wheels, with a top speed of 100 km/h. The battery pack is IP67 rated, and Wuling Nepal quotes an 8-year warranty on the battery. The appeal is its footprint and ease of use.

- Long Range variant is well equipped for its class, adding a 10.25-inch dual-screen display, all-disc brakes, ESC, Hill Hold Control, TPMS and an electronic parking brake with auto hold
- Distributed by EV Nepal Motors with dealer presence across Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Pokhara and Chitwan
What could be better
- Only four seats and a genuinely tiny cabin, so it works as a city commuter or second car rather than a family vehicle
- Almost no boot space with the rear seats up, limiting how much luggage or shopping it can carry
- Top speed is capped at 100 km/h and the 30 kW motor runs out of breath at highway pace, so it is not suited to long inter-city runs
- Claimed range (200 km Standard, 300 km Long Range) will drop noticeably in real use once hills, AC and passenger load are factored in
- Base Standard Range gets only dual airbags, ABS and EBD, missing the ESC, Hill Hold and other aids reserved for the Long Range
- Standard variant charges slowly at around 8.5 hours from its 2 kW charger, so overnight top-ups need planning
