The Hyundai Creta Electric, launched in Nepal by Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., marks Hyundai’s strong foray into the mid-size electric SUV market. Priced between Rs. 51.96 Lakhs to Rs. 59.96 Lakhs, the Creta EV is available in four trims: Executive, Smart, Smart (O), and Premium+.
All current variants come equipped with a 42 kWh Lithium-ion battery and a 99 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, offering a solid blend of power and practicality. This move follows Hyundai’s strategy to repurpose the existing ICE Creta’s K2 platform to reduce production costs while still appealing to EV enthusiasts. The Creta Electric adheres to Hyundai’s signature design language with modern EV upgrades, boasts a range of up to 390 km (MIDC), and features multiple charging options including DC fast charging.
